Bridget Roberts

Bridget has worked in Practice Management since 1997 as a Practice Manager/Managing Partner/Practice Director. She has been writing and delivering local and national training courses for practice staff since 1999.

Bridget has worked for the Royal College of General Practitioners (RCGP) in London as a freelance trainer. She also has her own consultancy and training business – HK Consulting.

Locally, Bridget has worked with over 20 practices across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland providing hands-on consultancy support and guidance, as well as writing and delivering training courses for practice staff, nurses, HCAs, registrars and medical students.

Philippa Guy

Philippa Guy is a qualified Coach, accredited DISC Practitioner and an experienced Business Manager for a large inner city GP Practice. Prior to joining the NHS, Philippa worked for over 20 years as a manager in the Pharmaceutical Industry so knows herself the difference taking a coaching approach with your staff can make. She also knows how easy it is to think you don’t have time to do this, so her courses also look at the practical applications of coaching skills in everyday interactions with staff.

Building on her coaching and DISC expertise combined with over 20 years personal experience in leadership and training roles, Philippa can design and deliver specific sessions to support teams with a variety of developmental needs. They can range from individual coaching around DISC and leadership styles, effective team working, creating a vision, identifying values and objective planning as well as leadership skills development.

Keleigh Atkin

Keleigh is the Business Partner at Hugglescote Surgery, a role she has held since 2009. Prior to this, she gained broad experience working across four GP practices in Leicestershire and Buckinghamshire. With a long-standing career in general practice, Keleigh brings extensive expertise in human resources, performance management, primary care structures, and navigating organisational change.

Having worked part-time for over 15 years, she has developed a strong ability to prioritise effectively across both professional and personal responsibilities, while ensuring the full scope of practice management is delivered to a high standard. She is particularly adept at adapting to the fast-paced and evolving nature of healthcare management.

Keleigh is committed to continuous improvement through reflection, professional development, and building strong networks beyond her organisation. She is an accredited DISC practitioner and holds an IOSH Managing Safely certificate, reinforcing her dedication to effective leadership and safe, high-performing workplaces.

Paul Hanlon

Paul has been the Business Partner at Charnwood Community Medical Group in Loughborough since September 2006. He represented Practice Managers on the West Leicestershire Clinical Commissioning Group Board from May 2014 to April 2017 with a leave of absence to set up the local GP Federation in 2015 and was the Chairman of the Federation from July 2019 to July 2025. Paul believes in strong, stable and high-quality General Practice and that our best chance to achieve this is to work together and support each other.

Pauline Waweru

Pauline has worked within primary care for over 9 years, having started her career as a Practice Manager in a small inner-city GP practice before moving to a larger county practice. She joined the profession from a project management background which has helped immensely with the organisational side of her roles.

Pauline has recently taken on the role of PCN Manager within Leicester City, returning to the city after some time. Whilst there is a great deal of overlap between Practice Manager and PCN Manager roles, this transition has provided an opportunity to work more collaboratively across practices and at network level.

With the changing face of primary care and the move towards neighbourhood working, Pauline recognises that this is an opportune time for the PCMA to have representation from within a PCN, helping to bridge the gap between individual practices and the wider system. Pauline believes in forming networks which is key to progressing within primary care, particularly as it continues to evolve at pace.

Sharing information with peers remains paramount to a successful and sustainable career in this field. Pauline’s calm and supportive approach has helped to maintain a strong team spirit, despite the current pressures, and is appreciated by colleagues across practices and at network level.
